Layrr ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Kiran Johns, an independent developer based in India. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use layrr.dev and app.layrr.dev (the "Service").

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g. GitHub, Google), we receive your profile information from that provider.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh). We do not store your credit card details. Polar handles all payment data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Usage data

We collect basic usage data such as pages visited, features used, and browser/device information. This helps us improve the Service.

Project data

When you use Layrr to edit websites, we process the content you provide (URLs, edit instructions, project files). This data is used solely to provide the Service.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts)
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Layrr:

• Polar — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI — AI processing for edits. Your edit instructions and relevant page content are sent to the AI provider you select. Refer to their respective privacy policies for how they handle data.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on servers managed by our hosting providers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Your rights

You can:

• Access, update, or delete your account information from your dashboard
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Delete your account at any time

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
